Andrew is an experienced employment lawyer and advisor to fast growth businesses and clients of Law Squared, and enjoys working across a range of industries (including a particular focus on not-for-profits, tech and fashion).

Andrew is committed to helping employers and their management team deal with daily staff issues and complex legal problems as they arise during the employment life cycle: hiring, managing and firing. This is either by ongoing retainer / Law Squared as a Service models (where Andrew practically becomes the employment law extension of a business) or through ad-hoc engagements (such as when a new general protections or underpayment claim).

Andrew was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Awards in both 2018 (Pro Bono) and 2019 (Health and Safety), largely in part for co-authoring the Child Safety Toolkit 2018, which has been downloaded over 100,000 times and aims to prevent child abuse in community organisations, and also helping Our Community (who represent over 80,000 not for profits in Australia) launch and manage the Not-for-profit Assist Legal Membership Service (which provides legal support to not for profits in a cost-effective way).

Andrew continues to work heavily in the health and safety space, and most recently has provided extensive assistance helping organisations navigate the new psychosocial hazard framework (including responding to numerous WorkSafe inspection and infringement notices).

Outside of Law Squared, Andrew is currently the Secretary of North Melbourne Language and Learning (NMLL), and prior to becoming a lawyer, worked as a personal carer for Australian Homecare for over 5 years - supporting differently abled people in our communities live prosperous and fulfilling lives.
