Jane is a Legal Project Officer at Law Squared who works on content and online marketing strategy, data analytics and implementing transformation strategies that supports Law Squared’s goal to become a tech-driven legal practice.

Currently a sixth-year Bachelor of Commerce (Economics)/Laws student at Monash University, Jane is interested in the intersection between technology, law and the burgeoning startup ecosystem in Melbourne. She brings to Law Squared her experience working in the hospitality industry, aged care consulting, student clubs, in a family law firm and as a wedding singer.

Jane enjoys lateral problem-solving in various contexts and taking on new challenges, and is eager to take on a broad range of skills and challenges that will support this passion. For example, she represented Australia in an international management accounting case competition in Poland and received an Honourable Mention in Melbourne’s inaugural heat of the Global Legal Hackathon.

Jane endeavours to bring a positive and compassionate attitude into the office. She aims to foster a positive mental health environment (at the workplace and beyond) in young people, having been a participant and subsequently facilitator for a personal development program for young adults sponsored by an international organisation. In 2017, Jane was awarded Monash University’s Office Bearer of the Year for her role as President of a student club.

Outside of work and studies, Jane cooks, runs and paints watercolour portraits with the steadfast company of her one-year-old Border Collie, Kiara.
