Natasha brings over 13 years of extensive experience in the compulsory acquisition space.

Natasha has significant experience in acting for clients (including landholders, tenants, business owners and acquiring authorities) in compulsory acquisition compensation claims for freehold, partial and easement acquisitions. Natasha also has substantial experience in temporary occupation compensation claims, voluntary negotiations for voluntary purchase schemes and easement acquisitions, planning compensation for loss on sale claims and financial loss claims resulting for a permit refusal, property law, litigation, and dispute resolution matters.

Natasha is highly regarded within the compulsory land acquisition and compensation space and has been involved in advising clients on most major infrastructure projects across Victoria over her career. Natasha understands the human side of compulsory acquisition and brings with her a wealth of knowledge to assist the Energy + Infrastructure Team in advising clients on energy, telecommunications and infrastructure projects.

Holding a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Science (Criminal Justice), Natasha's expertise in this area shines through her previous role as Principal at a Melbourne-based law firm, where she headed up the Compulsory Acquisition Team. Her former clients ranged from SMEs and large corporations to high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profit organisations, advising them comprehensively on all aspects of the land acquisition and compensation process, temporary occupation compensation and planning compensation claims.

Driven by a commitment to fostering trusted relationships, Natasha delivers commercial and straightforward advice to her clients. Natasha understands the importance her clients place on providing outcomes within time and budget constraints while also ensuring results are delivered in an efficient and effective manner. Her decision to join the Law Squared team was influenced by our shared focus on building strong client relationships and achieving optimal outcomes collaboratively.

Recognized for her industry experience, Natasha was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Awards in 2019 in the Planning and Environment Category. Outside of her professional life, Natasha cherishes moments with her family, including her two young children, husband, and beloved cat. She also indulges in her passions for strong coffee, true crime podcasts, captivating books, and supporting the Hawthorn Football Club.
